Two weeks ago I rushed into to buy a quick snackat Stewart's before work. As I stood in line with my yogurt, pretzels and muffin, a group of people started shouting. Someone came in to tell me my car had just been hit and the driver was leaving. She told the police she hadn't realized she had caused damage and said I wasn't in a legal parking spot, something the police refuted. Well, guess what, I need a new door and paint job. Thanks to the woman who wrote your license plate number down and for your insurance, it won't cost me a penny. Did y fitflop ou get to work on time? I was an hour and a half late.

Sitting in traffic today, I noticed they are replacing the brick crosswalks on Delaware Ave. It's shocking that two years after being put down, they already need to be replaced. I noticedthis spring several of them werein disrepairor sunken and had large potholes. I fitflop knew when they put them in that it would look nice, but not hold up to the traffic, weather and snow plows. Who is paying the replacement cost; the city or the construction company who built them? The new ones, made to look like laid brick, hopefully will hold up a bit longer. We don't need attractive crosswalks; we just need safe ones that hold up to wear and tear.

And finally, I vow to never wear flip flops while driving. It was tragic what happened in Voorheesville, for everyone involved. I'm a chronic wearer of the flexible, unstable, barely there sandal because they are comfortable and easy, but I have wondered over the years about how safe it was to drive in them. If they don't support the foot, how can it keep your foot steady and safe on the pedals while driving? Nothing further to discuss, lesson learned.

Great post. I too had the lousy experience of my parked car being hit by someone who tried to flee, and witnesses saw it all. I was at Home Depot in Albany. And that car hit my door too, just like you.

Some pieces of hard earned advice. These d Fitflop Lunetta oor repairs can easily be $2,500. I don know your car situation. Might be worth thinking about trading it and pocketing the money or using it toward the trade.

Look up the law on dealing with auto body shops. DMV has a guide on the web. In ALL of my experiences of dealing with auto body shops, the law was not followed.
